Available for sale is a Rolex Oyster Perpetual bubble back, reference 2940. The watch features an absolutely stunning white which has aged to an incredible tropical dial. The watch is in attractive condition given its age in honestly worn condition. The watch serial begins with 135xxx dating this watch to 1941. It is a neat piece of history as it was issued during WWII, neat to think who would have owned or purchased this watch then.
Case: 34 mm stainless steel case which is in impressive condition given its age, showing honest signs of previous wear.
Bezel: Stainless steel bezel in attractive condition showing a few marks as expected.
Dial/Hands: Original white dial which has aged to a stunning tropical orange hue, a real treat on the wrist. The dial is original and untouched. The hands are original showing signs of honest aging
