Available for sale is a Rolex Oyster Perpetual featuring an automatic movement. This 5506 Rolex is marked ‘Explorer’ on the dial making this a far scarcer version than the traditional 5506 model. This watch has a gold capped case in stunning condition with a perfect dial to match! This watch is a real treat in person. The serial number is 635xxx dating this watch to 1960.

THE DETAILS

• Case: 34 mm Gold capped over stainless steel case very very light signs of previous wear. The gold capped case is in impeccable condition considering this watch is 60 years old. This watch really looks like a solid gold watch on the wrist. 
• Dial/Hands: Original (not refinished) Rolex silver dial in absolutely stunning condition. This dial really pops out on the wrist with its radial shine in the light. Hands are like new condition. You will not be disappointed with this dial!
• Movement: Rolex 1530 automatic movement, service history unknown.The watch is currently running 8 Seconds a day
• Bracelet/Strap: This watch comes with a brand new aftermarket leather band 
• Crystal: Original plastic in very clean condition, there is only 1 black mark on the crystal itself near the middle of the watch, difficult to tell in the photos.
