Available for sale is an original 1967 Rolex 5513 submariner with a meter’s first dial. The early meters first dials only lasted for a few years in the late 1960s and are becoming scarce to come across in this condition. This is not your average 5513 you see online. This particular piece is very attractive, original dial with nice patina and even has the original riveted bracelet which is becoming scarce as well. The serial number on this watch begins with 154xxxx dating this watch to early 1967.
Case: 40 mm stainless steel case showing signs of previous wear. There are no major distractions though we decided to keep it unpolished to allow the buyer to decide if they would like to polish or not.
Bezel: Original black inner bezel with light signs of previous wear. The stainless other ring is crisp
Dial/Hands: Original black meters first dial. It is in super attractive and never refinished or touched up.The lume markers are turning a nice golden shade which is very eye pleasing. Hands are as attractive and have a very light patina beginning to form
Movement: Rolex automatic movement currently running -35 seconds per day.
Caseback: Dating III.66 which dates from 1966, it is possible that it is original to the watch as the watch is from early 1967.
Bracelet/Strap: Stainless Steel riveted 7206 bracelet showing signs of previous wear. This bracelet is from 4th quarter of 1967. There are no major distractions though we decided to keep it unpolished to allow the buyer to decide if they would like to polish or not. The bracelet has little to no stretch. Bracelet will fit an 8 inch wrist
Crystal: Original acrylic with a few light scuffs.
Accessories: This watch comes watch only. It does not come with original box or papers
