Available for sale is a 1967 Rolex Oyster Perpetual date reference 1501. This particular example has an interesting and scarce sigma dial. The dial itself has faded a slate matte-like grey which his absolutely stunning in hand. The lume on the dial and hands are both in intact and have faded to a nice creamy lume. The bracelet is tight, the case is strong and it does not get much nicer than this for a 1501 vintage Rolex. The serial begins with 180xxxx dating the watch to late 1967 with the caseback matching up.
Case: 34 mm stainless steel case which shows signs of previous wear, no distractions to mention and features sharp thick lugs as seen in the photos.
Bezel: Original engine turned stainless steel bezel which shows signs of previous wear, no distractions to mention and is bold and sharp. It appears to have never been polished.
Dial/Hands: Original Sigma grey dial which as turned an attractive matte grey, it is far nicer in person than the photographs show. The lume on both the hands and dial are a matching creamy shade. Hands are original and attractive
Movement: Rolex 1570 automatic movement which is very bright and clean as seen in the photos. It is currently running +11 seconds per day
Bracelet/Strap: Rolex Stainless Steel 7835 fold over bracelet with 357 endlinks which shows honest signs of previous wear. The bracelet has little to no stretch as seen in the photos, it is about as nice as a vintage 7835 fold over link bracelet gets. The bracelet is later, most likely 1970s though still original Rolex. Bracelet will fit an 7.5 inch wrist
Caseback: Original Rolex Stainless Steel caseback marked with the 1501 reference. Caseback is marked IV.67 dating this watch was made in the 4th quarter of 1967
Crystal: Original acrylic which may have light marks typical of a 50+ year old watch
Accessories: This watch comes watch only. It does not come with original box or papers
