1968 Rolex President 1803 Pie Pan ‘Door Step’ Dial in all original condition!

Available for sale is a Rolex 36mm 18k Yellow Gold President Reference 1803. This piece comes with a stunning creamy silver pie panned ‘Doorstop’ dial, the dial is in simply incredible condition. The dial has been dubbed ‘doorstep’ as the 6 O’clock and 9 o’clock are shaped like doorstops. This example dates to 1968, even the clasp is stamped 1968. Given the age, this watch really is an honest example ready to be enjoyed. I held back on polishing it just to allow them to make the decision whether they wanted it polished or unpolished

Case: 36 mm 18k Gold case in good overall condition, no major scuffs or distractions. Previously worn and shows signs of previous wear.

Bezel: Original fixed 18k Gold fluted bezel in good overall condition, no distractions to mention. In previously worn condition.

Dial/Hands: Original and perfect silver dial turning a slightly creamy dial. Hands are as attractive as they left the factory.

Caseback: Nice condition original case back with no distractions with signs of previous wear

Movement: Rolex 1556 automatic movement running 14 Seconds a day. The service history is unknown.

Bracelet/Strap: Original 18K Yellow Gold president bracelet in nice overall condition, no major distractions. There is a moderate stretch to the bracelet, as presented in one of the photos, though no damaged links. Bracelet will fit up to an 8″ wrist

Crystal: Original acrylic crystal free from any marks or scuffs
