Available for sale is a 34mm Tudor Prince Oysterdate Prince featuring an automatic movement. The serial number is 967xxx dating this watch to 1981
Case: 34 mm Gold Plated stainless steel case which shows honest signs of previous wear. There is a little plating wearing off on one of the top lugs as well as one edge of the case (opposite side of the crown) where a little plating is wearing off. That said, for a gold plated watch of this era it is about as nice as they come. This watch really looks like a solid gold watch on the wrist. We left the case unpolished to allow the buyer to decide if they would like to leave the watch original or to polish it.
Bezel: Original gold plated stainless steel smooth bezel which shows signs of previous wear, though all the plaiting is there with no wear.
Dial/Hands: Original (not refinished) Tudor silver dial in absolutely stunning condition. This dial really pops out on the wrist with its radial shine in the light. Hands are like new condition. You will not be disappointed with this dial!
Movement: Tudor automatic movement, service history unknown. The watch is currently running -10 Seconds a day
Bracelet/Strap: This watch comes with a brand new aftermarket leather band as well as the original gold-plated riveted bracelet. This riveted bracelet is in decently tight condition and if it was re gold-plated it would look excellent. This bracelet did not last the test of time and to find one still with the watch is not common. Please note that the gold plating is wearing off (though mostly only underneath as opposed to on top) on the bracelet as seen in the photos. Bracelet is perfectly functional and could be added back onto the watch.
Crystal: Original plastic-free from any marks or scuffs
