Available for sale is a stainless steel 1999 Rolex 16610 submariner. This watch is a Swiss Only dial, these dials were produced in a limited run between 1998/1999. Prior to 1998 dials used tritium lume and were signed ‘Swiss – t <25’, in 1998 Rolex introduced Luminova and changed the dial to ‘Swiss’ only. Shortly after Rolex switched to Super Luminova and adjusted the dial to ‘Swiss Made’. The serial begins with A20xxxx dating this watch correctly to 1999.
Case: 40 mm stainless steel case which is in attractive condition with sharp thick lugs. The sides of the case show light signs of honest previous wear.
Bezel: Original black inner bezel in attractive condition with no distracting marks to mention. The stainless other ring is crisp and sharp.
Dial/Hands: Original Rolex ‘Swiss’ only glossy black dial is a stunning condition. Hands are like new as they came from the factory
Caseback: Original stainless steel showing honest signs of previous wear.
Movement: Original Rolex automatic movement currently running a +6 seconds per day.
Bracelet/Strap: Stainless Steel 93250 bracelet which is in attractive condition and shows light signs of previous wear with no major distractions. The bracelet is marked X2 correctly dating this watch to February 1999. The bracelet shows light stretch. The Rolex crown logo on the clasp is sharp. The bracelet will fit an 8 inch wrist
