Available for sale is a gentleman’s 1950s Vintage Mens Longines watch known as the ‘The Advocate’ . This watch is crafted of soldi 14k White Gold and features a manual winding movement. This watch is an incredibly attractive watch in terms of design and condition, remember this watch is nearly 70 years old. It features factory set diamond makers, an interesting dial layout with great and silver, interesting lugs and an interesting contracts of finishes around the dial. It truly is a stunning watch in person.

Case: 33×37 mm 14K solid white gold Gold case, unpolished though does show signs of light previous wear, no distractions to mention. Although 23mm, the watch really feels match larger due to the stepped design of the case.

Dial/Hands: Original Longines dial set with factory diamonds. The dial is both all original and in nearly perfect condition. Many of these vintage Longines Advocate watches have aging spots, scuffs etc whereas this one is in very attractive condition. Hands are original and interesting in that they are shaped in order to travel over top of the diamond markers, it makes for an interesting set of hands.

Caseback: Nice condition original 14K white gold case back with all correct Longines markings. It is also marked ‘ Longines Wittnauer Watch Co Inc New York Geneva Montreal 14k 168 ‘. There are signs of previous wear

Movement: Manual winding movement, we have left it unserviced, it is currently gaining 1 minute per day.
