Available for sale is a 1946 Rolex Oyster Precision 3116 in a Gold Capped case. The dial is stunning and all original with nice patina even forming. Many of these dials have been refinished or have aged poorly over time though this one has stood the test of time (no pun intended!)

THE DETAILS

• Case: 30 mm stainless steel case with the original gold cap from Rolex. The case shows signs of previous honest wear as to be expected with a 70 year old watch
• Dial/Hands: Original Rolex dial which has turned a nice tropical cream shade, it is absolutely stunning in hand. The dial is completely original and bears the original 'Swiss Made' a 6 o'clock. Hands are as attractive and original.
• Movement: Rolex manual winding movement, currently running a -17 seconds per day.
• Bracelet/Strap: Aftermarket black leather band in previously used condition
• Crystal: Original plastic crystal free from any major marks or scuffs.
• Accessories: This watch comes watch only, it does not include box or papers.
