This 1950s Audemars Piguet Calatrava is a wonderfully elegant vintage dress watch, made especially compelling by its 6 O'clock sub seconds.

The Details:

Case: 34mm solid 18 karat solid yellow gold case showing honest signs of wear, overall very attractive given it is a 65+ year old watch. It appears to have never been polished

Dial/Hands: Original Audemars Piguet dial showing honest signs of an even patina forming on the dial 

Caseback: Nice original 18 karat yellow gold back in attractive condition

Movement: Manual winding movement which has been serviced by our watchmaker and is currently running +29 per day.  remains unserviced and is running +14 seconds per day. Unfortunately it does not running within +/-6 seconds per day though given it is 70+ years old this is still pretty reasonable! 

Bracelet/Strap: Leather band showing honest signs of wear.

Crystal: Original acrylic in attractive condition.
