Available for sale is a 1957 Rolex precision reference9083. This reference is nicknamed the UFO due to overall look of the watch. The dial has gain a really stunning tropical effect. This is an honest example, it appears unpolished and has completely original dial – very few nice honest examples surface of this reference, act fast!
Case: 36 mm stainless steel case which shows signs of previous wear, no distractions to mention and features sharp thick lugs as seen in the photos.
Dial/Hands: Original silver dial which as gathered an even tropical patina. The dial is completely original and has not been touched up or refinished. The hands are original and attractive
Movement: Rolex manual movement which has been serviced by our watchmaker and is currently running -5 seconds per day
Bracelet/Strap: Original Rolex Stainless Steel riveted bracelet which shows honest signs of previous wear. The bracelet has little to no stretch as seen in the photos, it is about as nice as a vintage riveted bracelet from 1956 gets! The bracelet is marked 4/56 dating the bracelet correctly to the 4th quarter of 1956Bracelet will fit an 7.8 inch wrist
Caseback: Original Rolex Stainless Steel caseback marked with the 9083 reference. It also features a Rolex crown which is nicely visible, it appears the caseback was never polished and thus we left it the same way we found it!
Crystal: Original acrylic which may have light marks typical of a 60+ year old watch
Accessories: This watch comes watch only. It does not come with original box or papers
