Available for sale is a 1973 Rolex Datejust Yellow Gold Reference 69178. This watch features a stunning all original Ox Blood Stella Dial. The Stella dials are extremely rare and thus coveted by collectors. The bracelet is extremely tight. All around this watch is absolutely exceptional in everyday. This Rolex has been serviced by Rolex in 2017 and includes the card that accompanied the service. The invoice was not included though I can image the service for this watch to be very pricey from Rolex.
THE DETAILS Case: 26 mm 18kt Yellow Gold case which has been polished by Rolex in a 2017 service. There is a card which is included.
Bezel: Original fluted 18kt yellow gold bezel which is very sharp.
Dial/Hands: Original Rolex Ox Blood Stella dial. The dial is completely original and in perfect condition. This is an extremely rare dial, many did not survive. The dial has a glossy effect that is stunning on the wrist. Please note one of the lume plots is missing at 5pm, this should be an easy fix. Hands are as attractive as they left the factory.
Movement: Rolex automatic movement. Service by Rolex in 2017 and currently running 4 Seconds a day
Bracelet/Strap: Original Rolex 18k Yellow Gold oyster band with riveted links which has been polished by Rolex in a 2017 service. The band was is extremely tight and it appears the watch has not been worn since the service.
Accessories: This watch comes with everything you see in the photos including the service pouch, Rolex Service Card.
