Available for sale is a Rolex Oyster Quartz Stainless Steel reference 17000 B. This particular example has an interesting look as the aging process has caused the writing to peel off resulting in a neat 'ghost' effect. The dial is stunning and all original. The serial begins with 553xxxx dating the watch to 1978.
Case: 36 mm stainless steel case which has been recently polished by our watchmaker. The lugs are nice and thick, these typically come over polished though this one is very crisp given the age.
Bezel: Original stainless steel bezel which has been recently polished by our watchmaker.
Dial/Hands: Original silver dial in which the aging process has caused the writing on the dial to come off creating a 'ghost' effect. There are some spotting on the dial as seen in the photos. Hands are original and show some signs of aging.
Movement: Rolex 5035 quartz movement which has been serviced by our watch maker along with a fresh battery change.
Bracelet/Strap: Rolex Stainless Steel bracelet which has been polished by our watch maker. The bracelet has nearly no stretch as seen in the photose. Bracelet will fit an 8 inch wrist
Caseback: Original Rolex Stainless Steel caseback in attractive condition
Crystal: Sapphire crystal free of any marks
Accessories: This watch comes watch only. It does not come with original box or papers
