Available for sale is a stainless steel 1999 Rolex 14060 Submariner. This watch is a Swiss Only dial, these dials were produced in a limited run between 1998/1999. Prior to 1998 dials used tritium lume and were signed ‘Swiss – t <25’, in 1998 Rolex introduced Luminova and changed the dial to ‘Swiss’ only. Shortly after Rolex switched to Super Luminova and adjusted the dial to ‘Swiss Made’. The serial begins with U94xxxx dating this watch correctly to the first quarter of 1999. This watch shows signs of previous wear though remains unpolished with sharp lugs. The watch is super complete with box, booklets, warranty, anchor, caseback sticker and even includes the original sales receipt! Best of all it includes the original booklet which the customer wrote about their 10% discount – those were the days!
Case:40 mm stainless steel case showing previous signs of wear though has with razor sharp lugs. There are many scuffs on the side of the case though is expected with a 20 year old watch
Bezel:Original black inner bezel in attractive condition with only a few light marks . The stainless other ring is crisp and sharp.
Dial/Hands: Original Rolex ‘Swiss’ only glossy black dial is a stunning condition. Hands are like new as they came from the factory
Caseback:Original stainless steel case showing signs of previous wear.
Movement: Original Rolex automatic movement currently running a +6 seconds per day.
Bracelet/Strap:Stainless Steel 93150 bracelet which is in attractive condition and shows signs of previous wear with no major distractions. The bracelet has nearly no stretch. The bracelet is marked X2 correctly dating this watch to February 1999. The Rolex crown logo on the clasp is razor sharp. The bracelet will fit an 8 inch wrist
