This Cartier Tank, reference 590005, is an especially striking example of one of Cartier’s most timeless designs, complete with its original box and papers. 

Its standout feature is the spectacular grey and black contrasting dial, creating a sophisticated Art Deco look that pairs beautifully with the classic rectangular Tank case. 

The case is crafted from sterling silver with gold plating, and unlike many examples seen today where the plating has worn through with age, this piece retains a remarkably rich, full gold-like appearance.

Case: 23mm x 30mm sterling silver which is gold plated by Cartier, the case is in very attractive condition. Many of these cases show signs of toning/aging whereas this case is extremely nice.

Dial/Hands: Original Cartier dial which is in stunning condition. This is a less common dial variation and really looks great in person. Hands are gold colour and like new condition

Movement: Quartz movement with a new battery

Crystal: Acrylic which shows light signs of previous wear

Bracelet/Strap: Grey bespoke band with original Cartier buckle
