This large, exquisite brooch/pendant was hand-carved into natural shell, beautifully depicting the Greek Goddess Hera, riding in her chariot pulled by Peacocks. The exceptional quality of the hand-carving, and its resplendent sculptural elements, are enhanced by a rich, elegant scrollwork frame of solid 18K gold. Signed, “Cavelti” for Toni Cavelti and finished on the back with both a pin (to wear as a brooch) AND a hidden slider bale (to wear as a pendant). A remarkable collectors piece!
